Commands
The following commands are recommended to help make the game more accessible, whether one is visually impaired or just wants to be a better gamer!
Command | Summary |
---|---|
Alias | To reduce typing and make a nickname for a word, use the command named "alias". |
Brief | To reduce the amount of descriptive text for a room, use the command named "brief". |
Chat | To talk on the out of character chat channel to all players subscribed, use the command named "chat". |
Columns | To adjust the number of screen columns to make text longer or shorter, use the command named "columns". |
Command | To reduce typing and make a shortcut for a phrase, use the command named "command". |
Consider | To display a comparison of a being to yourself, use the command named "consider". |
Exits | To display obvious exits from the room you are located, use the command named "exits". |
Flee | To run away to a random exit, use the command named "flee". |
Fp | To display fatigue points, use the command named "f p" (letter f plus letter p as one command) |
Gag | To gag (hide) certain messages to reduce screen spam, use the command named "gag". |
Ghelp | To read guild help, use the command named "g help" (letter g plus help as one command). |
Guild | To talk on your guild channel with all members subscribed, use the command named "guild". |
Hp | To display hit points, use the command named "h p" (letter h plus letter p as one command). |
Inventory | To review the items you are carrying, use the command "inventory" or "i n v" or just "i" for short. |
Keep | To keep an inventory item such that it will not be sold or dropped, use the command "keep". |
Kill | To attack a being within the room you are located, use the command "kill". |
Look | To report out on the surroundings within the room you are located or another player or inventory object, use the command named "look". |
Mort | To alert other players your hit points are negative (close to death), use the command named "mort". |
Music | To toggle background music customized to your surroundings on or off, use the command named "music". |
Nearby | To display beings and items in the same room, use the command named "nearby". |
Newbie | To ask new player questions of all players subscribed to the newbie channel, use the command named "newbie". |
Prompt | To change the prompt that appears after most commands, use the command named "prompt". |
Quit | To save your character progression and quit the game, use the command named "quit". |
Report | To turn your vitals report for hit, spell, and fatigue points on or off, use the command named "report". |
Reporter | To customize your vitals reporter for hit, spell and fatigue points, use the command named "reporter". |
