gag - shorten or disable unwanted messages

Description

Change from verbose (descriptive) mode to brief mode where messages may be shortened or eliminated to reduce messaging. These commands are helpful for sight-impaired players who want to focus on the most critical messaging.

Syntax

Command	Description
gag	Summary status for all brief messages.
gag descriptions [on | off]	Toggle mode for room descriptions on or off.
gag map desc [on | off]	Toggle mode for map in room descriptions on or off.
gag weather [on | off]	Toggle mode for weather messages on or off.
gag errors [on | off]	Toggle mode for either simple or normal error messages.
gag missing [on | off]	Toggle mode for messages when you miss an enemy in combat.
gag missed by [on | off]	Toggle mode for messages when an enemy missed you in combat.
gag missed others [on | off]	Toggle mode for messages when others miss an enemy in combat.
gag hit others [on | off]	Toggle mode for messages when others hit an enemy in combat.
gag defense others [on | off]	Toggle mode for messages when others defend against an enemy in combat.
gag stats zombie [on | off]	Toggle mode for messages when stats change due to the effects of being a zombie.
gag stats vampire [on | off]	Toggle mode for messages when stats change due to the effects of being a vampire.

Brief room descriptions mode.

No map embedded inside of room descriptions.
> gag weather on
No weather messages (you can look at sky to see the weather).
> gag errors on
Simple error messages.
> gag missing on
No messages when you miss an enemy in combat.

No messages when an enemy missed you in combat.

No messages when others miss an enemy in combat.
