renounce - Reject the faith of a deity.
Description
Once baptized into a faith, one can leave at any time by renouncing their deity. Not all deities take kindly to this action. Some may exact some sort of final punishment for such insolence. If one renounces a deity that is not theirs, it is a way of showing devotion and dedication to their own deity. Traditionally, most show their faith by worshipping or praying to their own deity. Renouncing other deities has a tendency to anger others.
